I am currently a Secondary ELA Teacher at Tulsa Public Schools, gaining experience in instruction and programming with the age group I hope to work with, teens. I am also an early-career librarian from the School of Information Science and Learning Technology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. My areas of specialty are User Engagement and Diversity Outreach.

Native American Studies Guide

In the Fall of 2016 I was approached by two of the subject librarians at Ellis Library to help in creating a subject guide for research into Native Americans and Native American Studies.

Shortly after I started at the Tulsa City-County Library, I took the initiative to revise and update their guides on downloading materials from the library.

Black Archives of Mid-America

As a project for my Leadership for Diversity in Public Libraries class, we cataloged and created a library for the Black Archives of Mid-America in Kansas City, Missouri.
